Dial +86-312-3156390 / 3155390The TZY-LXQ series 6-35kV voltage transformer neutral point nonlinear resistance harmonic damper (referred to as the primary harmonic damper) is a nonlinear resistance harmonic damper device installed between the neutral point of the 6-35kV voltage transformer (hereinafter referred to as the transformer or PT) and the ground in the primary winding Y. The harmonic eliminator uses SiC with excellent electrical performance and fine particles as the substrate, which is pressed into high-density rectangular or round cake shaped bodies by a large tonnage press, and sintered at high temperatures of thousands of degrees Celsius in a reducing atmosphere. The exposed surface structure of the resistor has been specially treated to withstand sunlight and rain, and can be directly used indoors and outdoors. It is popular among users due to its small size, light weight, fast heat dissipation, high strength, and easy installation.
This product fully complies with the provisions of Article 4.1.5 of the current Ministry of Electric Power standard DL/T620-1997 "Overvoltage Protection and Insulation Coordination for AC Electrical Installations", and can effectively limit the ferromagnetic resonance of voltage transformers.
The TZY-LXQ series primary harmonic eliminators can be divided into two types according to the rated voltage of the power grid where the PT is located: 10kV and 35kV. The 10kV harmonic eliminator is also suitable for the PT in the 6kV power grid. The selection of the harmonic eliminator model is not only related to the rated voltage of the power grid where the transformer is located, but also to the insulation level of the high-voltage winding X end (tail end) of the transformer. Due to the fact that the harmonic eliminator is a nonlinear damping resistor connected in series between the neutral point of the PT primary winding and the ground, its nonlinear characteristics give the harmonic eliminator a certain resistance value in the normal operating current range, effectively limiting high-voltage inrush current and ferromagnetic resonance. But when there is an abnormal high current in the power grid (such as lightning strikes, power grid disconnection resonance), a relatively large voltage will be generated. If the insulation level at the end of the voltage transformer is not strong (commonly known as weak insulation voltage transformer, whose high-voltage end is output together with the secondary side), it is possible to damage the insulation at the X end of the voltage transformer. In response to this situation, the TZY-LXQ series harmonic eliminators are divided into TZY-RXQ type and TZY-RXQ - (D) type due to the different insulation levels of the voltage transformer X-terminal. The TZY-RXQ - (D) type provides a D-parameter component that can effectively limit the voltage across the harmonic eliminator, keeping it below the insulation withstand level of weak insulation voltage variation, thereby effectively protecting the neutral point insulation.
