The DC resistance test of transformer windings is a test item for transformers after handover, major repairs, and changes to tap changers; At the same time, the on load tap changer is a moving component connected to the transformer circuit, so the detection of on load tap changers is becoming increasingly important. In the "Regulations for Handover and Preventive Testing of Power Equipment", it is required to check the sequence of action of on load tap changers, measure switching time, etc.
The traditional testing method for the two experimental projects is split type testing, which requires equipping a direct resistance tester and an on load tap changer tester. Because they are two independent instruments, each equipped with a testing line, it requires separate wiring and testing, which greatly reduces work efficiency.
Our company has innovatively developed a comprehensive tester for transformer DC resistance and on load tap changer. We only need one set of equipment, which can complete the testing of two projects without the need for frequent disconnection of test lines, greatly improving work efficiency and saving user costs.
